There’s no “best class” really, it depends on your play style. For solo pve I’d probably say warrior is the easiest one since mobs very rarely try to get away from the hard hitting, channeled skills, and you’ve got the highest hp and armor in the game. For spvp you’ll get boosted to lvl 80 and have access to all skills, traits and gear so you can easily try out what suits you best. Thieves and mesmers seem to be the fotm right now but mesmers will be nerfed soon.
