What cosmetic auras are for Ascended gear and which ones can be used in Exotic gear?
1.Chak Egg Sac
2. Preserved Queen Bee
3. Vial of Liquid Aurillium
4. Poly-luminescent (Black)
5. Poly-luminescent (Green)
6. Poly-luminescent (Orange)
7. Bauble Infusion: Blue, Red
8. Ghostly Infusion
7 & 8 are infusions, so they can only go in ascended equipment.
The rest are categorized as jewels, so they can go in any non-ascended trinkets.

For the exotics (1 to 6 above)
- Be sure to choose something that will remain account-bound after upgrading. That includes a lot of recent story rewards, but not most other drops and does not include crafted items.
- If you also want to recover the item later (to sell or whatever), be sure to find something that can be salvaged. A lot of story reward trinkets count for this.
An alternative option are L80 ‘fine’ rated trinkets — these become account bound after upgrading and are salvageable. (Also: cheap.)

Hello everyone Ty for the info and after reviewing it now it makes scene on which ones go where lol. If infusion asc if jewel exotic gear. Tho this sucks if you want nightfury and have asc armor tho.
With the jewel ones, you stick them in an exotic backpack like the great monkey one. It’s the smallest possible reduction in overall stats from asc.
Just don’t do what woodenpotatoes did on stream that one time when he crafted a great monkey statue out of the backpack he’d just stuck a queen bee into…
