hey everyone! just started playing GW2 for the first time a couple hours ago. I have the Primeval legacy armor.

My question is this…is the gear meant to use right away on a lvl 2 guardian?

!nd if i use it right now, and i get better gear as as i lvl up, will i then be able to transmute my out-lvled legacy gear on my newer armor?

Yes, you’ll be able to transmute it as you get new armor. When I create a new character, I want it to look good right away, so I buy high level armor and transmute it to my level 2. Then, as I level up and get better armor, I can just use my trans stones to keep the look.
You can get more trans stones by completing maps. The easiest maps to complete are the capital cities—Black Citadel, Divinity’s Reach, Lion’s Arch, ect.

Transmutation stones a great. Long as you complete whole areas and stuff, you will have them up the wazoo. I got nearly 200. It only sucks when you get level 80 gear and have to use special ones that actually are rare/valuable.
