Hi all I’m new here so sorry for any basic dumb questions. I purchased the heroic edition and got the free armour with it! The thing is I have equipped it but seem to have the same set in my bag but can’t wear it as gives me an error I have put a screen shot of it.also I can’t seem to put in my bank hope you can help thanks.

That’s not an error, that mean it’s a skin that you can apply to your armor, so you have to get armor and then apply the skin to that armor to use it.

Sorry didn’t mean an error, so should I just apply it to my armour then and like it says and will that just give like it says some different art work on the amour.like I said I just installed it and it’s my first mmo lol?

Yes that’s an armor skin, so that is what your armor will look like. Just make sure you dont override that skin by transmuting it into another skin, you will never get it back. You could wait until the 15th when the skin wardrobe comes out and then you’ll always have the skin without the danger of losing it.

To clarify a bit more. The heroic edition gives you the same skin two times;
- One on an accountbound set without a level requirement (the one you’re wearing) and
- One in the form of skins that can be applied over your current skin (the one you tried to use.) Where-as most gemstore items only give you the skin.

Note that a skin can only be applied once after that you need to use an item called a Transmutation Stone (level 1-79) or a Transmutation crystal (level 80) which you can also use on the armorset you’ve currently got equiped.

I’d elaborate on that, how-ever on the 15th of April the system will change as mentioned by Rainbow Sprint, so all that matters is that you keep atleast 1 copy of the skin so it will always be available to you after that date.

Hi mate thanks for that it’s a big learning curve this lol.So when you say 2 skins surly one is armour as my char never had a helmet but now he has.Also with this skin thing if i applied the second skin to my armour that would just look the same then so would be no point it would just disappear would this be right? And with the whole skin thing is it just to change any armour to how you like it to look! As i said sorry for this it’s just i like to have things straight in my head lol
