so i got my cute trapper ranger to 80 , got thenew trapper runes wich inspired me and was gonna start roaming, ofc my build doesnt have 25% speed signet in it, and u cant always swap it in for lightning reflexes, so i was gonna get few of the handy 15% speed boosters

ofc i got several in bank, but i am low on em, then i was like: well imma just buy em off the gemstore

then i noticed, they dont sell combat boosts

am i just not finding it or there is no way to obtain em besides black lion chests and ap chests?

pls help dis kawaisura out!

There used to be an item that gave you a speed buff. I’m not sure if it’s still in the game. I forgot what it is called.

i dont think im gonna get those, i mean, they r like 2 g for 30 min in tp atm, cant get from vendor anymore…

i just checked up and combat boosters only drop from black lion chests atm, its lame, but cant be helped, i am probably gonna run around either slow, or without stunbreak

I thought as much.

Your only options for a trapper build with trapper runes is to toss out a trap for Signet Of The Hunt, or to use the Warhorn 5 skill. Rampage As One also gives Swiftness, but it’s on a long cooldown.

One of my mesmers has a superior sigil of speed on one of her weapons. It gives 20 seconds of swiftness (33% increase in speed) for each kill. Stacks in duration so after a big fight she’s got speed for a long time. If she’s running through some area and needs speed I have her kill some random creature. A huntsman can make the sigils of speed.

I put that superior sigil of speed on my thief’s shortbow. It stacks fast and there are times when I have between 2 and 3 minutes of swiftness.

The sigil of speed is actually really good at low level, along with bloodlust.

This might be info that you know and just did not mention, but for 10 silver you can convert your other types of combat boosters, if you don’t use them. Talk to the BL Armor Merchant about that.

ik it alrdy, i am just short on any kind of combat boost >:

one more thing i just figured out, when using a bird pet, and u target and want the bird to atk smth, it gives aoe swiftness , using 2x birds+warhorn gives u some neat swiftness

leaving this here for other rangers having same issues
