Hello everyone, first off I know this is a massive noon error but am very new to the game, I recently had a very good staff for my level of character (lv30 sylvari elementalist) and have made a huge mistake, I found what I thought was a better weapon so salvaged my staff and equipped it but it is an off hand sceptre and I now have almost only defensive spells, I have tried to kill some thing in the hope to collect a weapon but no luck, any ideas please I’m so stuck

lv30 should be more then enough to afford a lv30 staff from TP, bought a nice blue staff for use now, don’t put and sigil in it so it remain non soul bound. When you got a better one or higher lv staff, sold it again.

I know this is another noon question but what is a blue staff?

Crossaber means fine quality staff. Different quality levels are marked with different colours.

White = Basic
Blue = Fine
Green = Masterwork
Yellow = Rare
Orange = Exotic
Pink = Ascended
Purple = Legendary

Also I have about 40 silver is that enough?

more than enough, a blue quality staff is about 3-10 silver, and you can sell it with similar price after you get a better one staff so you can consider it is a rent staff.

remember don’t add any sigil as it will soul bound the weapon and you will not able to sell it back to tradepost.

Ok I will make sure tho some of the armour I have found said I need sigils, 1 or 2 that grant boosts but I have not applied them and it still seems to have the boosts highlighted, do I only need them to be in my inventory

for runes thats apply to armor slot. if a rune said need 2 of the same rune, yes it means it. you need at least 2 pieces of armor that slot with the same rune. highest tier rune provide 6 buffs which require you to slot all armors with the same tier runes.
