Got the game today for christmas, any particular USA world to pick? Does “very high” pop mean that? I want enough folks around to group with, only PvP I like is realm v realm, don’t even like sparring cause I’m lousy at it. I’m 63, would really like to find an older guild to join.

The population that displays on each server is based on players logged in at that time. If WvW is going to be your primary past time then you might find this helpful :

These are the current rankings, it will give you an idea of how well each server does at WvW (although to be fair, how well a server does in world vs world depends on how varied the servers coverage is – lots of out-of-hours players usually means a better score).
