Few people have asked over the years here , but I have yet to see an answer.

Does anyone happen to know why, on that timer, sometimes the boss is gold with an asterisk next to it? Usually I see SB come up with it, and today I see Fire Elemental. I thought maybe it was to signify that today that boss is one of the dailies, but that never seems to line up.

Do NA and EU have different dailies, and maybe ‘that_shaman’ designed the tracker used on Dulfy to integrate with the daily information for EU?

No, NA and EU have the same Dailies. But, Core Tyria and HoT purchasers can have different Dailies, as well as those with sub-L80 only characters.

thats right, options are:

• you don’t have HoT, and therefore different dailies
• you may have HoT but the timer is for non-HoT acounts
• you may have HoT or not, but the timer is simple out of date/glitched to the wrong dailies

I checked official listing, and the current dailies for PvE with HoT acounts are:

PvE Daily Kryta Vista Viewer
PvE Daily Silverwastes Event Completer (If Fire Elemental is not applicable)

so you either have a level mismatch, or not a HoT acount

There are four different tiers of dailies, it seems, depending on the highest level character in your account:

> Character below a certain window
> Character above the window, but below 80
> Character is 80, but is non-expansion
> Character is 80 and has the expansion

I don’t know how dailies behave to individuals not meeting the criteria, but it’s safe to look at the Daily tab under Achievements to see what is available to you.

Characters below the designated window also have 3 daily tasks instead of 4.
