So i wanted to create the eye of rodgort and a torch i forgot the name of. To craft these i need 500 vial of powerfull blood and 100 acient bones and soms globe of ecto. So i farmed this week for 30 hours in orr(heared that stuff drops here). All i have gotten is 2 rares(3 globs) 5 acient bones 20 potent bloods and 90 tier 5 bones. Okay the bones and globs will take long but how do i get powerfull blood??

My info might be outdated since I never really bothered to farm for specifically one mat, but I always heard the trolls and acticondus(sp) south of the claw of jormag fight in frostgorge dropped the blood. And I always ended up with lots of ancient bones walking around straits of devastation and malchor’s leap.

That might be a start til somebody with better info comes by.

You might want to try somewhere that has creatures with blood in them
Frost Trolls, Ardoctos, and Alpine Skelk drop them in Frostgorge Sound.
Also, the MF recipe 50 Potent Blood, 1 Powerful Blood, 5 Philosopher’s Stones (half a skill point), 5 Crystalline Dust (half the TP price of Powerful Blood) makes 5-12 Powerful.

I’ve never farmed a specific t6 mat, but I did wind up with 3 powerful blood out of CoF exoplorabe last night. And gimmethegepgun is right about using the mystic forge to convert Potent Blood to Powerful Blood. Sometimes though, if the conversion rate isn’t in your favor, you’re better off selling the potent blood on the TP and buying the Powerful blood. Check prices before you pull the lever on the MF Slot machine.

I have heard bloods are more common from trolls. Keep in mind the top tier crafting mats and the second top both drop from end game monsters, so you will just need to be persistent. Also be wary of the Diminishing Return affect if you are farming one particular mob one small area for more then 20 minutes. Supposedly it does not drop until some time in the late evening according to the wiki.

And if you get the t5 drops from them, remember the MF recipe. It may be cheaper to upgrade them than sell them to buy t6.

Go to southsun cove on the beaches, and farm the skelk, they drop powerful blood.
