I had it to low by default and when I went to high it looked so bad. like everything is so bland and boring, and none is just too much color and not much lighting but low looks fine. What is the point of high post processing? It looks the worst yet uses the most power

D/D Elementalist takes no skill but is good at everything in the game.
Mesmer is unfun to play against and does everything better than thieves.
Hoping those two get gutted with nerfs

I don’t see a change at all.

Post processing just make stuff a bit brighter nothing else but if you want more i suggest you try out Gemfx.

alright I think my post processing is messed up because mine on high is darker than on low. I’ll try gemfx

It depends on where you are. If you activate it in the Heart of the Mists then you get a dark foggy look because it’s meant to be dark and foggy there. In some places it gets brighter, makes certain things glow more, applies a colour filter to your screen etc.

I imagine high just applies the same effects more than low does.

The difference in Ascalon is minimal (see screenshots) while the difference in the Shiverpeaks is higher.
1: high
2: low
3: none

With high settings, you’re exposed to more of the zones theme color (ascalon is orange, shiverpeaks is light blue)

With low settings, the theme color is minimal.

With none setting, the theme color is non-existent and that means there’s also a darkening of the overall color scheme of the area.
