whats best controler to use
Hi Winter.
I use the Logitech G13 gamepad with a Logitech G600 Mouse.
It’s the ultimate GW2 combo ( no, I don’t work for Logitech :P )
G13 has the joystick which I use for all WASD movement. Profession skills and weapon skill are bound to the G13 keyboard. On the G600 mouse, I have dodge bound to the 3rd mouse pad ( yes there are 3 instead of the usual left and right ). And, I’ve all of my utility skills & Elite / healing on the mouse buttons on the side of the mouse.

It took me 6 or so weeks for muscle memory to kick in. Now it’s second nature and I’m a FAR better player in WvW and PvP because of it.
Have fun

That logitech board is actually quite hard to find in some countries. I went with the razer orbweaver, and use it for almost all my games now.
Most glider skins are limited time items, so if it’s not in the gem shop, you’ve probably missed it. They’ll come back some time, most items eventually do.
I’ve been using a Nostromo n52 forever — all the way through Gw1 up to now in GW2. I guess it’s the precursor to these newer devices. For normal game play I don’t need the keyboard at all. My mouse has jump and reverse on two extra buttons.
I used to have Razer’s version of the Nostromo… my copy had stiff, sticky keys and a mushy D-pad. That’s why I upgraded to the mechnical Orbweaver. I’ve never tried the Tartarus (Razer Nostromo’s replacement) so I can’t say if Razer has fixed those issues.
Genuine question:
What’s the argument for using one of the keyboard-controller-pad-things against a full keyboard and a multibutton mouse (well, you’d use that either way, but)? Do they do more than can be done with intelligent keymaps?
Key binds may help, but I personally like the ergonomics plus being able to use my thumb for more than just jump. You can also have your hands much closer together which I prefer (similar but even more compact than a tenkeyless keyboard)
