wondering which profession to play as
No profession is Op, but there are some that are easier to play (and considered more boring). Personally I don’t understand why playing the easy way would be more fun. The hardest two classes are the engineer and the elementalist. Therefore they also have the potential to be excelling and being versatile if your good at gaming. The two easiest professions are considered by many the warrior and the ranger. It is one of the reasons I never tried warrior. I am trying the ranger, it is very easy and to make it interesting for myself I am using a greatsword as much as possible.

I recommend using the Axe with the ranger. You’d be surprised at how effectively you can deal damage that way.
As a warrior I seem to be able to play through most areas pretty easily. I also hear the ranger is pretty easy.
