10 game a week minimum to be ranked
Its bs any way you slice it. You also have people that wont play a ranked game on there main account unless they have an A group online. Otherwise they play on a secondary account. You should have to be active to be ranked its only fair.
Id just have decay start if you don’t play 10 games in a week. And have decay be small, but pick up momentum each week you don’t play.
Yes there are a lot of players who never play anymore and are still highly ranked because the current pvp ranking system is a joke.
If you don’t play for a week you should lose 100 rank, if you don’t play for 2 weeks 200, if you don’t play for 3 weeks 400, if you don’t play for 4 weeks 800, if you don’t play for 5 weeks 1600. It should be something like that.
Also if you do release something like that, make it effective starting whenever you release the leaderboards to bring those haven’t played for 5 weeks and rank 120 players down to 70% or whatever right away. Bring them down NOW!
Because I frankly don’t care if your the best and the best there will ever be, but if your not playing GW2 anymore, you don’t deserve to be rank 1 anymore. And if you haven’t playen in a month it shows your not playing anymore, and if you truly are good enough to be rank 120 and care, it wont be that hard to get back there when you come out of your 1 month inactivity.

Why does it even matter? Shouldn’t “YOU” play good enough to reach top 100 and take them out of it?

cant bring them down if they never play anymore.

It doesn’t take many wins to hit top 100, but they do have to be consecutive or a loss will knock you down a couple hundred ranks.
I fight people, sometimes they kill me, sometimes I kill them. Fun is had by all. [/quote]
There is a player who has been in the top 10 of the leaderboards Na, since its launch, his wins/losses not having changed once.
So, up there for over a month without playing a game, that’s too slow of a decay.
so the guy on my friends list moved from 106th to 88th place over the weekend, without playing a single game still LOL
er scratch that he’s 85th now, moved up 3 spots by not playing today.
+1, this ladder has no sense in this format.
Yup this leaderboard is a joke.
