I’m sorry to say that it wont get better, for you. Anet’s algorithm intentionally stacks weaker players (arbitrarily determined, no offense) against significantly stronger players.

Unless you start queuing with other players with significantly higher win ratios than your own, your own ratio will remain low.

You have virtually zero chance of solo queuing your way out of your MMR because the system will continue to give you the other 4 weakest players out of the 9 you’re matched with in roughly 80% of your games.

Technically that’s potentially 59 pips if all 21 wins were a winning streak.

So you should be somewhere in the middle of tier 4 Sapphire. That’s a good nudge up the path so far!

ahhahahaah well they are not that bad actually.

i think other factor could be
age (1981 born)
not having jedi reflexes (can’t play “complex” professions like ele / thief / guardian etc)
very casual mindset (happy to reach ruby in both season 1 and season 2)
oceanic ping perhaps ? (average 200-300ms ping)

well those and plus i dun exactly copy the builds 100% from metabattle but refer to them and fine tune to my own casual play style.

at least i dun come to the forum and rage about mmr hell though. i think.

I’m a mes main, playing from NZ, 1983, and capable of running counter meta in lue of meta builds. No excuses! XD

I’m playing (arguably) the worse class in game and i’m legendary so, it’s not all matchmaking’s doing.

29 win’s.
Biggest win streak 7 in a row.

I’ve just made it to Sapphire. Last few games where close wins. Next game I’ll probably lose, and probably lose a lot more after that to balance out my win/loss.
