is there ever going to be a 1v1 match making system in this game? once or if this ever happens league ladder tournaments can happen. be alot of fun.

Yeah it could be fun. As they are very clear to state that the game is not balanced around 1v1, I do not see how it can have a ladder though.

I’m not a huge fan of 1v1, but I do think 2v2 annihilation would be a really awesome queue.

a 2v2 be great to, and for ladder there be rule to make it fair, if its a legit tourny threw a service

People already wine that x class/build is op. There has been a nerf thread regarding every single class on this game. That’s just from Conquest.

There will be more drama if there were 1v1’s but 2v2 and 3v3 gamemodes would be great.

Any arena modes would be welcome. Most fights in PvP are already 1v1 (until rotations happen), why does everyone pretend otherwise?

And don’t tell me that the last 5v5 you had felt like the pinnacle of balance in this game, it was more likely a giant clusterkitten.

true but now Arenanet will be compelled since they officially provide an official mode. When people QQ, all arenanet has to say is “lol, our PweP isn’t balanced for 1v1, it is balanced for 5v5 and that is the end of it”.

By providing a 2v2 or 3v3, Arenanet cannot use the good ole 5v5 excuse. Yes, people complain about it now but it is like 10-30 people at most, now more people will be complaining.

Conquest is built around 2v2 and 3v3 skirmish’s.
