2 hours to win a random spvp match
Is this hotjoin or tpvp? Can’t really tell from your OP. If hotjoin, it can’t be just you, it may have just been a premade group who joined one side and coordinated better plays or just a bad rng with overall better players on the other side. There’s nothing much you can do if your team is subpar except maybe backcap and win the small fights you can win by yourself (or aid in team fights that you know you can win). If it’s tpvp, the matchmaking system is questionable at times.

Not sure if hot-join or tourneys, but here are some things that you might want to look into despite what mode you play:
1) Is your build good for PvP? Seriously, I see some horrible builds in PvP from time to time, and it really hinders your ability yo contribute.
2) Can you win in a 1v1? You need to be good enough to fight other players in 1v1s and come out on top more often than getting beat-down. Maybe join a dueling server to sharpen your 1v1 skills.
3) How is your map awareness? Look around by panning the camera if you can, try and remember when/if you saw one of the enemies in a location or going a certain direction. Then you can better react when points are getting capped or even know when to help a teammate out in a loosing battle (that you can sway).

Nah it aint you, just the newbies that the leaderboard players farm for rank points. Don’t click random and join there team next game and farm newbies with them.
Leaderboard players know that hotjoin offers too much rank points when compared to tournaments hence why a lot of top leaderboard players only have around 50-300 wins and are ranked #1 on leaderboard and nobody can take them off, because they be playing a couple games every 3 days just to make sure they don’t drop and the rest of the time its just farming newbies in hotjoins.
Hotjoins isn’t newbie friendly go play some tournaments instead at least you’ll get a fair game or have better chances at fair games.
I love posting this image because theres so many threads like this but they don’t do anything to hotjoins. Like I said before limit hotjoin rank points to 200.
Complaining about hotjoin balance, and posting a 8vs8 kittening zergfest screenshot in every thread as “proof”…the new frontier of failâ„¢
Did it ever occur to you that those top leaderboard players aren’t always online, all 5 of them, to play rated matches? Or that maybe, just maybe, one of them logs on, is alone, and goes to play a bit in hotjoin to kill some time?
Or maybe they’re waiting for the queue to pop? Or testing new builds? Or any other reason?

This is to help you rutilus.2643 I’ve made a step by step guide to winning games in hotjoins and earning that rank points.
Step 1 image 1, don’t join game immediately, first you need to see the score. As you can see here one team is farming the other team so don’t join because you’ll be on the team getting farmed.
Step2 image 2, when game ends look at ranks to see if they are really a group of players farming newbies. As you can see people are farming newbies because you have a stacked team. Also note the players names so next game you join there team.
Step 3 image 3, join the people farming newbies team and don’t do anything but follow the guy that is highest rank and won the most points last game.
Step 4 image 4, you’ve won the game, you now have max rank points acquired which doesn’t exist when you win because I didn’t score that many points neither did I become top player on a lot of stuff because I don’t even play a necro.
Rinse and repeat and you’ll be higher rank faster than your buddies playing tournaments and you’ll enjoy it because you’ll be winning almost every game as well.
Enjoy and have fun earning those rank points.
PS. These images were taken 10 mins ago after joining some random game, those newbies have no common sense so they continued to get farmed, just like how you described in your post, lucky for you, you come to the threads and learn about this. Also don’t worry about people calling you hotjoin hero, even the pros do this because its clearly the best way to get rank points right now… Its the meta for earning rank fast.
