You know that matchmaking takes the Skill rating (1759 or even about 1777 if the screenshoot 2 was taken after the match so not gold but mid plat) . I do think plat getting matched with legendary is something that can and should happen (but not every match for sure). But if OP just spam q, he has greater chances to face the same people over and over so just wait 5 minutes, take a tea or whatever and q again.
If metrix+zan lose to plat players, they lose like ~25 and win only ~2 on winning while you winning against metrix+zan is more like ~15 if not more. You losing 18 on that match means that either : your teammates have a high mmr or that zan+metrix teammates have way lower mmr. They are some bugs in the team composition algorithm (after the system chooses the 10 players) : see here ,that the dev team is trying to solve.
Yeah tbh, it’s pretty sad the game doesn’t seems to consider how a match was close (but on FoeFire a 350-500 is a close game because lord) but you got at least (better than nothing) the top stats that reduce loss/ increase gains.
The problem with class or category q is that :
1) q are way longer
2) that depends of meta and builds, a staff thief is a “teamfighter” but the d/p is a roamer, the system can’t handle that
3) preventing class swap or even trait swap means that you trust the matchmaking algorithm more than ever because if you q with a build that is bad against X (let’s say condi war against mesmer because power war is more efficient), you have to trust the system not to put you against one of you counter and you basicly shot “ruin” your team if the system decides to put you against one of your counters.
Using hacks has and will never be ok for anet. Let them do their works and try to include as much infos are needed (video/screenshoot/timestamp ect..) so they take less time checking. The team delivering the ban hammer isn’t the same the does the pvp balance or pvp system so you better complain at customer service afaik for that.
The system doesn’t know that RandomUser.1337 is the alt of ProPlayer.4242, and if ProPlayer.4242 is legend, the system should make that RandomUser.1337 climbs to legend pretty quickly (like kittykittymoewmoew did). For you, RandomUser.1337 being an alt or a former godlike pvp player coming back on a fresh account or wvw player with perfect mechanics skills that learnt rotations with streams/guide/ect… and trying to give pvp a go is basicly the same thing. It’s a player to outplay. People being good are making quality games. As long as they aren’t throwing matches I’m fine with that.
