Ok here is there challenge: Any Sword Pistol thief that can down me in a duel gets 2 gold, 2 gold for even time they down me. Feel free to add me, request a duel any time I am on I will try accommodate as many people as possible.

side note: as far as i understand issue with pw isn’t 1v1 in particular but rather in team fights

transfer to EU servers and I will give it a shot, thought I am not good with thiefes. But I want to try anyway.

I dunno, the build kinda sucks for duels IMO. Without a capture point to fight over there’s nothing to limit your opponents movements and the 2 > 3 > 2 combo falls apart as soon as the fight goes on the run. Hence why it’s not as popular in WvW as S/d or D/p

what build is op playing?

if you set up a build specifically for fighting PW spammers then it doesn’t really prove a point if you win.

a bunker build with loads of retaliation for example could be catered purely to fighting PW thieves.

inb4 condi bunker warrior, pu mesmer or some other dueling build people use to pretend they’re good.

If you’re running your warrior, Vice, that’s the best choice. The un-interruptible HoT of HS and Adrenal Health (as well as regen from dogged) is a hard counter to the more sustained damage of the S/P set.
