With the removal of jewels will the amulets with stats (instead of 3) will remain as they are? (percent wise, not hard values of course)
Because if so the Berserker’s amulet is going to rule even more…
In almost all cases an amulet with points distributed between 4 stats is going to be much better balanced then one with 3 stats.
And out of the only 3 amulets with 4 stats, Berserker’s has always been the only ‘real’ viable one.
Rampages could have been real good for hybrid builds but instead of power or condi as main it got precision, and no crit dmg?!?! thus making it one of the least used amuluets and taking down many playes to play a valid hybrid build.
Valkyrie is seeing a little more use, mostly by eles, and that is because of it ‘wasted’ point in healing power which benefit only very little builds (who don’t for full full tank).
I bet ya that zerk amulet is used on at least 50% of player base (the other is mostly rabid), now its going to be even higher as soldier and Valkyries becomes much less viable without the ability to give it some precision through jewels…
I always found this whole ‘Stats set’ system to be one of the thing that hold up the game the most, and think that this feature patch could have been one a great opportunity to change it. But if we just focus on PVP which is easier to change -
Why not make jewels with only 1 stat and let the player choose 3 or 4 of them?
Maybe 1 main and two lesser , like the amulets are today. So we could build are own amulets instead of being pigeon-holed to only few viable amulets like today.
I don’t see how it would make it more complicated for newbies then the current system of choosing between 12 overlapping different amulets…
