So last night I played 5 matches and 3 of them were 4 vs. 5.

Obviously the team with 5 wins 99% of the time…or at least they should.

Pugging with the way matchmaking works right now is already bad enough but when you add on a solid chance of getting only 3 other players on your team it really sucks and makes people that care about winning (which is very important demographic to the games survival) not want to play.

Why has this not been fixed?

How about checking how many players are on each team before you let down the gates and if there is only 4 when the match is about to begin you put another player in? Trust me…the other team wants that as well.

Oh and lets not forget about the afk guy…I know matches are short as is but if there is someone on your team you notice sitting at the home spawn point you should be able to right click his name and kick him…give him a pop up to stop it from happening in case people are being dumb but give the players some way of pulling out a decent game…or how about a 10 second kick message? How about anything other than what is there right now??? NOTHING!

I really want to enjoy this game and when the stars align I really love this game, however, ever since launch the skies have been mostly overcast and nothing seems to be aligning in the way of consistency and improvements.

Please fix the issues that are stopping new people from coming in and enjoying the spvp game enough to decide to invest time into it.

I’m new to tPvP so I’ve only experienced 4v5 once (on the receiving end) and I can honestly say it did give me a pretty negative opinion of solo-queueing. I won’t stop solo-queueing from one bad experience, but I can see how one would throw in the towel after this happening multiple times.

I understand there may not be much ANet can do about someone who AFKs after a match has begun. But it does shock me that matches are allowed to start when there are only 4 people in the zone.

There are so many threads about this issue and a lot of others, and I’m sure Anet knows about it. I doubt that they will fix these issues soon – regarding what they did the last months. Unfortunately we (…you, ‘cause I already quit PvP) have to deal with it. There won’t be any big changes in PvP in the next months imo. The community shouldn’t expect a better PvP-System for now. Any hope will disappoint you probably.

Well I guess if we do not keep posting about it ANET may think it is not an issue worth discussing any longer…so I will keep posting in hopes of change.

Issues like this one (issues that when they happen ruin the game completely) should have been fixed months ago or never ever even made it into live.
