could the various guild wars 1 random arena Annihilation Mode maps be remade for guild wars 2?
lets call it “Fractured Arena” since we are fighting in various places in the past. the arena themselves could be like huge piece of rocks floating in fractal void space, just like the solid sea jade maw fractal for night battles. for day battles maybe it would be like the fractals lobby, like the floating Mistlock Observatory.

The Random Arenas (or RA) are a group of Player versus Player arenas where two teams of four people battle each other across thirteen different maps. Both the teams that are generated and the maps themselves are chosen randomly. Because forming parties is done automatically, RA has the shortest waiting period for entering PvP matches among all of the areas.
no need for any hidden MMR match making or anything, just quickly throw 4 players together and simply throw them into 1 of the 13 annihilation mode maps.
remake all 13 random arena annihilation mode maps from guild wars 1, or just take the existing textures, models from guild wars 1 and remodel them a bit for guild wars though i am certainly not a 3d modeler or game design so i dunno how hard or easy this would be. i shall leave it to the various experts in charged of that.
basically death match mode or annihilation mode where defeated players do not respawn unless in special modes such as with priest or in the crag.
maybe we can change the tie breakers and lower the time limit a bit.

general rules:
time limit: 5 minutes
victory: all 4 players on the other team defeated
tiebreaker: team with first blood wins.

Ascalon Arena, D’Alessio Arena, Fort Koga, Amnoon Arena, Shiverpeak Arena, Shing Jea Arena, Petrified Arena, Sunspear Arena, and Churranu Island Arena.

Annihilation with Obelisk Flag Stand – 2 maps
Heroes’ Crypt and Brawler’s Pit.
teams are given a Flag, when flags are placed on the flag stand, their team gains control over that stand. Enemies within 900 range of the controlled flag stand will take lightning damage every 5 seconds. When a flag is placed on a stand, or it is picked up by the enemy, the item will re-spawn at the team’s starting point.

Annihilation with Priest – 1 map
Seabed Arena
The Priest in this map will resurrect all defeated party members on the 2nd minute and 4th minute from the start of the match. defeat the priest to stop the 2 minutes wave resurrection.

The Crag
There are two Resurrection Shrines allocated to each team at different parts of the map. Players that are slain can automatically resurrect at every 30 second interval from when the timer begins.

the battles would be so quick, it would be over within a minute.
with 4 players focusing down on 1 player, i figure they would drop pretty quick and a first blood is granted to a team. unless they happen to try to focus down a bunker.

tl; dr
1. click cross swords for PvP panel
2. click arenas tab
3. click join under fractured arena
4. forced teleport to new map after 30 seconds count down timer ends.
5. 10 seconds countdown starts immediately when 8 players are in the map
6. battle! pew! pew! pew! slash! slash! slash! boom! bang! ding! crash! ow! ow! ow!
7. win? wait 30 seconds in current map for next map battle!
8. lose? go back to where you came from.
