how do you “fix” a 4v5?

you fix it before any other priorities, atm it seems like they don’t care

ok but how do you fix a 4v5? maybe joining a game should strap you to your seat until the match is over? they could add gw2 duct tape to the gem store.

I already suggested before but no staff replied. I said if it happens, who ever else is waiting for tournament, they are welcome to join your game.

You might try making it illegal for everyone to have power cuts, internet fails, screen freezes, real life emergencies. That might help.

If that is what needs to be done, let it be!

How do you prevent 4×5? How about copy a system from any other competitive game, for example cs: go. If 10 people do not press ready match does not start. In gw2 as it seems if you do not press ready you are still thrown into the game, so you either get an afk member, or he actually left and there is noone to put it ingame.

Today I had 1 4×5 from the start.

The fix to the problem is to go do some WvW or Dungeon

Unfortunately PvP is not their top priority, so atm they dont give a toss.

Que up, but dont play = 3 day ban, simple fix…
Now you will have 3 days to resolve your real life emergency.

I am finding this a rare occurence.

4v5 has been around since launch, why would they suddenly start fixing it?=

edit: meant to say 4v5 not pvp hahaha. but that’s true as well lol.

First and most important also easiest fix == if initial countdown (1 min 30 sec) passes and both teams are not full match will be canceled, no penalties to anyone.

Second fix – punish players for leaving ranked matches – atm the punishment is not nearly enough. Just don’t make it stupid, allow one DC every X time – kitten happens.

Just had a 4v5.

4v5 since start. He joins when we’re 300 points behind. Gets no dishonored of course.

The enemy team had r10 warriors. Easy win, had Anet not decided to throw the dice against us.
