Guild Wars 2

This is not a QQ post about queue times, I’m not too bothered since i don’t play that often. I’m curious as to why i get 7 minute queues in emerald while before the alleged MM fix(i believe) i rarely got more than 3-4 minutes.
Just for information purposes I have about 2.3k games, with a maybe 45% win ratio(yeah I’m not too good) dunno why matchmaking struggles when I’m not really ahead of those in emerald.
Just to reiterate, I’m not complaining/raging, I’m genuinely curious, is it normal to get 7 minute Queue time in emerald? The only reasoning I could find is that everyone hit Ruby or something lol
