Does anyone else find 10v10 to be a bit overcrowded?

Yeah, I do. I actually prefer 5 v 5 matches tbh. 10 v 10s will just end up as 2 mini zergs in spvp anyway :p If it’s actually organized though, then it’s fine.

16 was already overcrowded in 3/5 of the maps. 20 people is just ridiculous.

i enjoy my mini spvp zergs fests and i am sure there are a whole lot more that feels the same.

A little bit but it’s up to the owners decision! Hopefully anet adds new options for custom tho such as disable point capping. and have 10v10 Death Matchs on Wave Respawn

if possible i want a no teams, free for all death match.

but then there is the problem of spawn points.

perhaps random spawn points with 3 seconds of stealth upon respawn.

So? It’s Custom Arena’s, so it’s supposed to give you the option to play an overcrowded Zergfest! ^^’

8 per team is my limit. Even 16 players feels zergy at times. Seems like most games are either 5,8, or 10 player teams at the moment.

I think 10 vs. 10 is fun. Lol I even saw one engineer using Mortar elite on Spirit Watch and attacking the Orb area from above.

No… seriously: I think most maps are made for 5 vs. 5. Only Foefire I think is good with 8 vs. 8.
10 vs. 10 would need bigger maps.

But since it’s Custom Arenas it is okay. Nobody forces you to play there if you don’t like it. There’s still the tPvP and some of the usual “server xxx” hotjoin servers.

I thought it was still 8v8 but noticed it seemed more zergy and looked at the scoreboard and it was 10v10.

I get that it’s up to the owner of the arena, I’m just wondering what happened to the quick join 16 player arenas that were there before the update. If they’re gone, that’s fine, I’ll deal with it, but if they’re still there and I just can’t find them I’d like to know.

so they increased number of players to allow spectators and players are regularly playing instead of spectating? oh god, such a failure
