Side Note: Placing Third in this event would be the equivalent to Winning the 2013 Invitational tournament held last year and would tie your team with SYNC for the highest earning players from Cash Prizing in GW2 (obviously after this event however, you would be behind whoever takes first and second).

The next two weekends are huge in determining who gets to go to China as we find out who the other 4 teams from each regions will be! Maybe it’s just worded incorrect, but an extra 100% magic find while inside PvP maps. Shouldn’t that apply when you are in the Heart of the Mist? What’s the point of only having it in game, most people don’t open their chests on the actually maps…

I’m assuming that Heart of the Mists is counted as a PvP map, but I’m also curious as to whether this will be abusable (hold onto all your chests until the tourny, eat them all for +100% loots).

With that prizemoney they could hire someone who might know what balance is.

China is more money! GW2 just recently launched in China earlier this year, so they’re trying to hook all the players they can.

It’s a liability issue. What company would want to be responsible for a minor in another country?

Doesn’t quite cut it. I’m no lawyer by any means, but I am 100% correct in saying that Anet doesn’t want the liability of a minor and that’s why they won’t take one. At least, that’s why I was told by someone who knows what they’re talking about on these matters.

You mean League of Legends? Thats not true, Rekkles was not allowed to play Tournaments and Worlds last year, because he was 17. So Fnatic played with him online, but pushzu had to replace him in every offline Tournament

nothing have to do with SoloQ because imagin yourself with high MMr and the game trying to get you team mates with similar MMr but non of the high ranked people playing atm ,, what do you want the game to do for you ? pop a message in your face and tell you " sir i didnt find players for you " ? ofc the game will start searching for people with lower MMr to get them and if you are playing in times that there is no people playing ofc u will get 7 people in the game insted of 8 cuz there is no one playing , somtimes you get afkers in some games yes thats annoying but they will get banned from pvp for 3 days and if they had that buff 3 times in a row he will get perma banned ,, so chill Anet cant do anything about the game popularity if few people playing pvp then from where you want them to get you players ? they cant force people to play pvp but they r trying there best to make pvp great for everyone so many players play the other side of the game wich is the pvp side ,, thx

Not true, Rekkles was not allowed to play, because he was 16!!, he would have turned 17 during the group stage or so, so they decided to go with puszu for that world championship.
In LoL the age is 17+, not sure why exactly 17, but it is.
