Was in a PVP match and found a warrior just standing in the middle of a zone with 4 people attacking him… he just stood there and took it… never died.. ran away when low health.. came back 5 second later, full health and stood there again.

Went into spectated looked at his spec and found this… Explain how this is balanced. (and people worry about guard/engi bunkers)

2xk healing over 90 seconds doesn’t seem that wrong to me, or am i missing something?

Seems to be only a display problem.

The battle standard should grant permanent regeneration via the trait Inspiring Battle Standard which means it heals for 130 + (0.125 * Healing Power) per second.

Don’t feel this a ‘game breaking’ trait – there are many professions with access to permanent regeneration.

If he broke combat, hp regen out of combat is very high – takes only about 5-10s to get back to up full. Banner just gives a normal regen boon, don’t let the tooltip fool you. Poison + condi pressure is the only “counter” to passive healing signet + regen builds like that since those warriors typically run settler’s/cleric’s amulet and have 3600 armor.

As a Ranger i have a lot of access to regen boon..We can keep it 100% uptime with Natures voice and Guard shout..
I have also tried some regen builds and after testing i found out that Regen is not a boon to count on it….
It has many counters…

Burst dmg
Poison
Boon strip
Boon corrupt

Its a “helpfull” boon, it wont make you immortal at all…You must combine it with other heal sources to be effective…
As a stand alone boon is weak
