I’ve posted this long ago in my other account Evisceratrix, now I am posting again. Other people have posted this idea too, but I will re-post it again.

I request for you ArenaNet to add Voice Chat in game.

I want a Voice Chat enabled in
-Party
-Team
-Squad (For commanders) If must, but priority will be on Party and Team

mainly for PvE / WvW / more importantly PvP Solo Queues or Team Queues or even Public servers Aka hotjoins

Hoping to hear more from you guys. I assure you this will be the first and last time I will
post in this forum.

If this request gets denied, its all up to your decisions however, it would be very beneficial to us PvPers.

Anyways for closing, I just wanna say.

I pray that one day, your dev team do the right thing and listen to players who wants the game to be a better place.

I’m pretty sure they did that for WoW, but nobody ever used it. They still used TS/Vent/Mumble instead.

Skype is free.
If people care about voice chat they tend to use skype/mumble/vent.
And few people tend to talk in in game voice chats (I played a Dota a bit).

These forums hold little if any sway on Anet’s actions, just so you know.
People have been complaining about far bigger things than in game voice chat for far longer and nothing has come of it.

I played XBox live for a good few years and I quickly realized the value of not having to be on voice chat with strangers. =P

12 year old kid: “I CALL THE SNIPER RIFLE! I CALL THE SNIPER RIFLE! OMFG YOU TOOK MY SNIPER RIFLE, YOU (insert vulgarity that would make a grown sailor blush).”

No thanks. Mumble/TS is fine. If I want to talk to someone, I do. I don’t need it through the game. I wouldn’t talk to randoms anyway.
