well burning wasnt nerfed really. 2 cantrips, burning speed, fire aura, dodge – they deal the same burn, drake breath is 1/2sec less and RoF got buffed to apply guaranteed 2x burn but less on cross (overal buff for smaller scale fights, slight nerf to teamfights).
Lost about 3 stacks of might (can still easily go 15-25). Vigor change doesnt have a impact on d/d ele.
There are still 2 tiers in pvp. Tier 1 – d/d ele, Tier 2 – every other build. You really think that 1/2s of burn on one skill and 3 stacks of might is what made ele so dominant? Give it a bit you will see, nobody is droping their eles for something else. Maybe next patch they remember to work on ele.

Per phantaram, the best zerker ele build is marauder S/F air/earth/arcane. I don’t see how it was nerfed considering it doesn’t run fire traits, dagger skills, or ice bow, but actually did get buffed with more damage on two very lackluster skills.
So yeah, zerker ele wasn’t nerfed, since the only good zerker ele builds in pvp weren’t abusing fire to begin with.

Per phantaram, the best zerker ele build is marauder S/F air/earth/arcane. I don’t see how it was nerfed considering it doesn’t run fire traits, dagger skills, or ice bow, but actually did get buffed with more damage on two very lackluster skills.
So yeah, zerker ele wasn’t nerfed, since the only good zerker ele builds in pvp weren’t abusing fire to begin with.
S/F is a very good build because of all the defensive focus skills which lets you run a more aggressive amulet setup but it’s got crap healing compared to S/D or D/D so I think it’s a bit of a trade. The buffs on scepter aren’t even worth mentioning.
As long as D/D ele will have that ridiculous sustain coupled with that ridiculous mobility they will still be op, or at the very least extremely frustrating and basically the cancer of GW2 PvP.
Here’s the thing. It’s fine if something is the best. Something always has to be the best.
The issue is, D/D Ellie is/was the best by such a wide margin, it literally made everything else completely pointless in all possible situations outside of extreme niches.
It will probably take another balance patch to get it quite right, but a little nudge down like this is appropriate and welcome. D/D Ellie is still going to be tough nut to crack but it’s at least closer to reasonable than it was.
As much as I hate DD ellies I don’t want ANet to knee jerk and just destroy it completely like they did with turret engineers. That’d be stupid. Rework it, make it different, tone it down, but keep it viable.

Renewing stamina 50% time reduction. With that build you cant have vigor from cantrip so its a huge nerf to SF maradeur ele. And for that build Dodge into water is the only condi clear out of magnetic wave. So this hurt more SF that DD
