As we are all aware the pvp element like many other games is littered with some of the most abusive people you will find, but where do we draw the line.

So often a situation arises when playing of peak hours, I spend up to 20 minutes in queue waiting to get a game and when I finally do I am matched with some of the worst people possible, not saying I am good but the skill gap is unreasonable. So I pretty much get stuff spending my whole game back capping while both groups zerg off point fighting, while never really re grouping, which to me isn’t a very enjoyable experience, I notice that during the game our ranger is spawning and running into out numbered fights and dying, so effectively feeding, the game ends and I have more points than the other 4 combined which doesnt really reflect anything, but I made a comment of stating that this ranger was particularly bad to a point where it was painful, something like “Wow our ranger is rather bad”. Then a team mate proceeded to spam every insult under the sun and said I was a noob and so fourth.

The question is, is it okay to call people out after games, obviously not abusive?

“I think we would have had a better chance of winning if we had regrouped more often. What do you guys think would have helped?”

I think it’s important to remember that very unbalanced matches come from flaws in matchmaking. Personally, I think it’s okay to try to give pointers or things that people can think about in order to improve, but “calling people out” also enables a more toxic atmosphere in general, imho, which there is already enough of in PvP.

It’s very easy to put people on the defence and it’s hard to give advice without people thinking that you are being aggressive towards them, so sometimes it’s just best to try to think about what you can learn from the game and just write off the rest to bad matchmaking.

You could try to whisper the person and suggest things they may want to try instead or point out issues you saw. This is probably the least embarrassing way to help them get better, and they may be more receptive to advice. I guarantee some people will just respond with negative comments, but they may still head your advice.
