A real radar

i wouldn’t mind being able to see people in combat and actully see my own team mates on the other side of the map on the minimap.. and being able to see names when hoovering over the little dot on map.
Would help so much when solo queing —
why max camera rotation when u have a look behind free command + hold left mouse for free rotation for sides?

I have a button for looking behind, but normal speed for looking around is too slow.
Imagine driving with the default camera rotation speed. You don`t spend 10 seconds looking around – you have a quick glance as often as needed and keep going.

I want GPS. And street view.
nah I don’t think so. it’s ok with or without radar, just plays differently. but anyway there are other things to take care of.
huH? we have a radar its the minimap on the bottom. it shows our allies on the map and mission objectives as well when they’re up. only thing it doesnt show is enemies, is that what this thread is about?
i’m confused.

It doesn’t show allies if to far away(so annoying!) :p.
Now when i think about it more clearly it would probably be too easy if you could see enemies in combat, but atleast make it possible to show nametag when hoovering mouse over your team mates little dot on the map :/
This is due to a patch I think it was January. Initially before this patch, if you were in a party, all 5 green dots would show on the spvp mini map while in a battle. They could be anywhere and it would show. And you would always see their respective health bars.
Then there was an intermediate step when all 5 bars showed in the top and you could track all the health bars together.
Somewhere along the line, this was changed and teammates and party mates would disappear when too far away and you cannot see them on the mini map until in proximity.
So I take it that the community is rather on the side of not using a real radar in order to compensate for maps which were designed to have poor vision?
