Just like Guild Wars 1 had. But, lets just have it for ranked and unranked sPvP.

Why so you can quite quicker? If you are getting hammered, maybe go back to unranked and get use to the game more. You’ll never get better if you just give up.

A resign or forfeit button/vote would be great, it’s annoying to sit through matches you have no chance at winning.

Yes. That’s the point of the /resign command. If I notice that there’s a person that disconnected for reasons unknown to me, as well as not having a chance of getting back up from a 150 point deficit, I’d rather not waste my time on that particular match.

We absolutely do not need this. This would add a whole new level of toxicity to the game. Either people would just resign every match because they lost the first midfight or they’d rage at you and harass you for not resigning. If you don’t want to waste time losing then don’t lose, simple. If you queue solo you will have bad matches, it sucks but it happens so deal with it. If you have friends in game then play with them and win as a premade. There are plenty of other options, adding this option would be unnecessary and would bring about a whole new level of toxicity bad enough that I’d quit the game the day the patch came out.

I have both win and loss matches that has been total blowouts at the start. These matches are the ones you said ‘whatte, what just happened?’ But they do happen, if you are to give up you will never experience these matches, atleast not the ones favoring you.

I have had a match where we had a player DC’d at the start, but we fought anyway, shortly after he come back and we had a lead, he dc’d again and we was loosing again. He never came back but I dunno what we did right, I guess opposing team got overconfident but we won the match.

Another time we started a game and did a realy bad start and one player got angry and left at the start saying ‘you are noobs all of you!’ We didn’t win the match but the score was 480-ish when opposing team won. Not bad for a 4vs5 match. You might think you lost but the game is not over until it is over.

Toxicity is something that all games have, and if they do become toxic, just report and block them.

You say rude, I say truthful.

I would be ok with it with certain parameters. Would need to be a time limit for starters. No resigning before 5 minutes of game time elapses and everyone would have to agree to resign.

GW1 had this and there was never any problem. It takes all 5 party members to /resign for it to work.

Unlike moba games, it’s a lot easier to make a comeback in GW2.
Players are so quick to forfeit after a mid loss instead of playing sides or attempt to communicate with their team :/

You can do better than this. There are many reasons why a game is a lost cause other than the person needing to “get gud”. AFK players, disconnected players, players who absolutely refuse to work as a team, a bad team composition vs a really good team composition. There are many reasons.

GW1 worked really well with it because it didn’t have a league system where you were punished for losing. It was a much more casual pvp system which is why this option worked well. Now in unranked sure this could work but absolutely not in ranked.

I’m pretty sure you could /resign in hoh, gvg and ta.
