You have a ready feature implemented, use it. A game cannot start if 5 people on the team aren’t ready. If a person isn’t ready after the normal 2 min of prematch they get another 30 secs or a game disbands and you need to requeue. This is especially important for solo queue and would be well used in hotjoin against farmers and people gaining too much of a difference before everybody joins.

Anet wanted gw2 to be different from wow. So they decided to have the ready button available after you enter into a match instead of before.
