I’ve tested the difficulty of maintaining 25 stacks of might with my engineer hgh pistol pistol and found it a lot harder to do with Balthazar rune over Hoelbrak/Strength runes. Would a nerf to these two runes actually offer more balance to the celestial specs?
Let’s be real, +30% Might Duration does reward passive boon stacking and with power runes it makes a really powerful combination which explains why cele “insert class” would be viable and strong in many areas of the game.

Well as long as you have either a necro, mesmer or thief in the fight, things won’t be maintaining 25 stacks of might.

I don’t really have a problem with might stacking. Of the things that I want to see changed in PvP, this isn’t at the top of my list.

I don’t believe might stacking has beven decided as being a problem.

My stance on it is boons are a l2p mechanic. It’s very easy to rip might stacks, lesser skilled players just don’t.

stacking might is relatively easy once the combos become second nature. but whats easier is denying them the might stacks they wasted their skills on. ripping off their might using insta cast skills make me feel like a horrible person but w/e I play to win, dawg

I think they just need to re-enable some kind of boon-rip priority (maybe LiFo) as opposed to it being random. That would make frequently might-stacking easier to attack, as it would often be the most recently applied boon.

Likewise, they should implement a similar condi-cleanse priority, as opposed to RNG. I think the changed it a few patches ago, and I am not of the opinion it was a good change.

There is still rip priority, steal still hits stability first.
