AG vs hero battle tactics recorded on toaster
Respect for their skill—sorry for the BM but the games were very close and very good. They beat us by a wide margin on forest though. I’ll post that footage when it uploads.
dude im so shocked you ran a 2-0-6-0-6 stance build without hambow against turret engys. Would of loved to see you run 6-0-2-0-6 with axe/shield stances vs turret engy.
Otherwise thanks for posting great match guys

As someone who almost never records his matches I ended up recording this set and the set vs radioactive.
I thought I’d share the vods from our perspective in case anyone was curious since I found it really interesting to see different team dynamics, communication, and actually found it interesting to watch them at intervals to see what AG was communicating to each other compared to what we were trying to do.
Full disclosure, Foefire is one of my strongest maps because I play the 350 game, meaning we basically play for 1pt and a neut and lord rush. I know other teams know I like to do this and so I try and mind-game the lord play if they’re being overly defensive, but foefire vs AG was a good game of mind-games. The end was really interesting because I waited it out in stealth after being banner ressed and so when they wiped the rest of the team in base they thought it was safe and stopped the CC on lord’s body leaving me room to 30% to 0 in a about a second.
I know these vods are less relevant to anyone not in the matches, but if you’re interested in how teams communicate these are good to watch. Examples of good and bad communication in both.
My personal opinion, HBT lacked numbers communication and missed calls on when people peeled. Our strengths were that we were always calm and and no one blamed anyone mid-match. The team was also good about following out team tactics and thinking on their own when I am too focused in a fight to call a good strat.
AG was a lot better at calling numbers and movement, and made good efforts of zoning out HBT’s only really burst threat, but I think they over called some things like sending too many back to Lord the first time (although it was a safe, good call since they couldn’t risk a lord death at that moment) and some conflicting communication on what someone needs to do like on Kylo.

Did you happen to record your matches vs the abjured? Your guys team is really the only one of the qualifiers i cant find? Much appreciated if you could, thank you
Yeah, I can upload them tonight (takes forever to upload but it should be ready by morning haha)
Those games were not nearly as interesting _
I think the score was 500-200 and then 500-0.
For everyone that says turret engi isn’t good competitively… Watch the OP video.
Thanks for putting it up, i know hero of death from the grinn guild and ive seen you quite often in the ranked games so it was fun watching you guys. Also wanted to see how your guys 2 turret engys did against the abjured.
Thanks again
