So as I came home tonight I found that there simply won’t be any AT’s for me to possibly play today unless I am willing to stay up to the wee hours of the morning. So I would like to ask, would it be possible to have one tournament at a set time each day during the region in question’s prime time? This may seem self centered since I am one of the people that can only play at “prime time” on the week days, however this is an exceedingly common situation. The number of people who are online during prime time is massive compared to normal and consistently having a tournament which they can all play would greatly boost participation over having occasional days when that time is simply devoid of tournaments. Additionally having at least a somewhat more regular schedule for the tournaments would make it easier to keep track of when you need to be on to join one. The other daily tournaments would naturally still cycle so that they can still cater to all the less prominent time zones/work schedules. What does everyone else think about this idea, any thoughts or concerns?

I work a 8pm – 4:45pm job but typically don’t get home till 6 or 7:00pm. I’ll never make a daily tournament with this current system. That said, I understand Anet is shifting the tournament’s time 1hour later, each day, everyday, until reset day. (Tuesday?).

If this is the case I can make the majority tourney days out of the week, assuming Tuesday’s evening reset tournament starts at the default time of 6:00, Wednesday is 7:00, Thursday is 8:00, Friday, 9:00, etc. I may only miss 1 or 2 days out of the week which isn’t bad.

The tournament calendar is actually independent of reset days and it’s actually 1 hour earlier, not later. Also, we’ve set the schedule so that tournaments are now 7-8 hours apart.

For example: Grenth’s Game opens today at 11:15PM PST. Tomorrow, it will start at 10:15PM PST. Saturday it will start at 9:15PM PST and so forth.

This should give people with all schedules chances to participate. There may be some days where no tournaments work for you, but it won’t be too long until a tournament moves back into your timeframe.
