Not to mention they have closed group balance discussions and certain players (like abjured) have always got 1 month+ advanced warning of upcoming changes. Pretty easy to stay ahead of the meta with an extra month each time.

So my question is:

Does that classifies as an exploit?

I mean if does, it is not like those teams are breaking the ToS rules and probably the ESL as well, and are passive of punishment which will directly influence on e-sports. Right?

Really? Is that speculation or are they for reals a part of Mist Initiative? Coz if it’s the latter, then this behavior is unprofessional AF.

Im sure they see these teams as a “ticket” to more twitch audience.

But have they realized that a lot of pvpers have lost respect to these streamers?

Pvpers aren’t stupid. We know when people we used to respect and admire are gaming us.

Not all streamers or top pvpers are scumbags tho. We still respect Helseth, ROM, OE, apex, caed’s team, Never Lucky for that amazing show of good sportsmanship and all the pro league teams not spamming roster.

Spamming roster while being a top team is greedy AF. Partially, the 2 anet employees are to blame.

I couldn’t acutally care less if EZ and Abjured are place 1-2 or 1-50. Makes no difference for 99,9% of the players. It just shows one of many design flaws that made it through testing for jet another highly advertised and hyped feature.

I’m currently wondering if it is even possible to reach Legendary. When all people are in amber, emerald and probably saphire.. will they even find matches and won’t they always loose more than 1 pip?

Definitely not speculation, I’ve seen them both in actual games representing the guild tag. Also, most of the time they are queueing with half of abjured or some other ESL team anyways.

It has effected me. Which is why I am passionate about it. I’m currently pushed down towards the lower end of gold.

I would wait longer than 3 days and at least until after we enable decay before making a judgement on how the team leaderboard will settle out. It is not our intention that a single team of players has the time to possibly keep that many entries at the top of the leaderboard.

While not wishing to be confrontational, for one the condescending attitude is grossly disrespectful to the people who pay your bills.

For second? You are completely incorrect in your assumptions. One of Abjured’s team is in the top 25 with only 6 games played. Many teams have more wins than this, you don’t need to put constant effort into maintaining your spot, just keep a high win rate.

Hey I feel where you are coming from. However, I do give Evan a lot of credit for responding to some of threads. At least we know he’s concerned and not part of the developer circle who serve ESL teams.
