How are we supposed to report these people and when do these players ever get banned?

Here are the ones I’ve run into.

1. Do not name drop in threads

2. Use the botting report reason.

Generally speaking, it’s not a good idea to name drop in the forums.

It has been advised to report them in game for LFG Abuse

I have been badgering the anet monkeys about adding a PvP specific report function but no word back yet z.z … as usual…

I reported one of them about 2 weeks ago and they are still queueing.

How does it make sense to report them for LFG abuse or botting? It doesn’t seem to fit.

It’s frowned upon by moderators to name drop.

It does not make sense; however, that is what we were told by Moderators and ANET devs to do…

Do you have a link to the quote?

Maybe they’re trying their best, but can’t find their way out of spawn. Nerf PvP, it’s too hard.

I am not talking about that. I am talking about the part where you said they told you to report MMR tankers for botting or LFG abuse.

And also I am not singling them, there are many MMR tankers out there, or accusing them of anything. I know for a fact that they are MMR tanking and Anet will know for sure if they check.

I agree there needs to be a better report option for afker’s.

I just got out of a ranked PvP match (I’m in ruby league) where one of my team’s members was just constantly switching toons and never left our spawn. We lost 503-492. So if that player actually participated we almost definitely would have won.

I clicked his name to report, but none of the options seemed to fit, so I ended up not reporting that player.

I wish that if you blocked someone it would prevent you from ever getting queued with them.

It’s starting to seem highly unlikely that 1 or 2 reports will have any affect on someone getting banned.

Maybe the continued frustration and name dropping will cause Arenanet to take more meaningful action.

My problem is the game has put me in teams with folks I put on my block list for afking during a match. They then do not disappoint and when they get killed they will rage quit and sit in spawn. (which is often pretty early on… Usually due to them making a rookie mistake like running to far and engaging a class they can’t beat there)

I always tell them if they don’t play I will report them, but the ones that I have already reported and blocked still end up on my team, and then they do the same crap. I had one guy that akitten in all three matches I have played with him.
