Increase the penalties for people who abandon their teams.

Well often people will disconnect or something, but I agree.

You should be banned from participating in any more PvP, be it SoloQ, TeamQ or skrimish for an hour if you quit a game prematurely.

But I do have one condition. And that is that they remove Skyhammer from SoloQ. Because until it is I refuse to play that map.

That said, punishing people generally doesn’t fix the underlying issue. People will still occasionally disconnect or quit anyway. So the game needs to be able to fill vacant spots.

For people who fill in only a win should count towards their rating, a loss should not. That should encourage people to participate in pregone games.

Penalties were already increased. It changed nothing, 3v5’s and 4v5’s will continue to happen no matter how severe the penalty is made.

I fully support an account suspension for the duration of your deserter buff.

Easiest ban in history to avoid, just play the game you queued up for. Follow the LoL example and ban accounts of players who make a habit of leaving games or afk ranking up. Should come complete with a warning that leaving another game will result in a 72 hour dishonorable and accompanying account suspension.

I’ve only won half my games tonight and only a single loss was not due to a 4v5 or worse, it’s absolutely infuriating the number of people trying to auto-run into a wall to try and trick the afk detection.

If you can’t stay online then you should be going into hot join games that are unrated and you will be quickly replaced instead of never. If you know you are joining with a shaky connection that frequently drops then you should get banned for constantly screwing your team over with a poverty connection.

I’m not talking about getting a ban for a single disconnect, a power outage or whatever happens from time to time but if it’s happening often then it is your responsibility to fix it or play hot join so you stop screwing over your team. Zero sympathy for the poor connection excuse.

EDIT: This should also include the option of declining the queue in case you forgot you were in it, which would include an auto-decline if you don’t confirm the match giving your spot to the next player instead of causing a 4v5.
