Ty sir and I forgot to add one more crucial tip from my experiences! Know your win conditions, if you end up with two thieves on your team do not try to force grouped fights, play on 3 points whereas if your team is less mobile try to hold a two cap as it minimizes the mobility weakness your comp has. Conquest may seem like a simple game mode but actually it is incredibly complex in it’s own way and understanding win conditions is something that takes alooooot of experience and a thorough understanding of all the professions that are in play.
Nice post.
Well i can´t do point 11. Its against my character XD …. Oh wait i did break the meta already in other games and did it last summer in GW2 …. Hot screwed all and it starts again … :-). I am always seriously concerned with balance. It´s my nature..
I agree with everything in this post. The only games you shouldnt be learning from are absolute stomps in your favor where you are farming the enemy one at a time on far.
Another point I’d like to expand on, taking breaks. People are very quick to blame teammates, but the only consistent factor in your games is YOU. If you dont improve, youll only reach high levels by being carried there. If you keep getting a terrible team or unlucky comps, take a 10 minute break. They will have had. Their queue pop by that time and you will get different teammates.
The stick with one class is especially important. I only branch out and play different classes when i have no pips to lose, warming up with an unranked game or two first.

No no my friend this game is about having fun after all. I mean 3 years from now who is really going to care how far you progressed in this game : D. But, unique builds can be good but you might be putting yourself at a disadvantage; as long as you are fine with that you can probably get to whatever rank you want anyways. There is a twitch streamer named xerrex who i love watching who stomps with unique builds; but he compensates for it in raw skill and game knowledge. Nothing stopping you from doing the same
Edit: but i think people underestimate how fast pros figure out the meta, it is rare even in tcg games for very powerful elements to go unnoticed.

If it is true that high skilled teams are being set deliberately against low skilled; Then arena net has consciously created a situation which will result in a majority of players having long losing streaks.
That being the case, the tips won’t help much. The deck is stacked going in.
While I’m certain that the esl players enjoy the situation… I don’t. How is it fair to set up the game so I have heavy losses by design?

Sometimes the difference between being a pro and being a great player is that 5% move, that one cooldown you held that one extra daze you accounted for. That is why i encourage build spamming because in this meta that one interrupt can really carry a mid fight
No wories. I enjoy and i have a very thick fur :-). I just feel other don´t enjoy the stampede roling over them …

Maybe you are better off waiting a few days then and joining some unranked or wvw roaming or what have you. There is still plenty of time to get whatever rank you want if you are certain you are going to run into them now.
