Guild Wars 2

Someone explain to me what’s going on with this. Was just playing a rated temple of silent storm on red team, match ended 11:57 US east just now. We were killing them pretty well, but there was one ranger in there who was shooting from obscene distances. He was all the way on blue’s home point and shooting us at mid. I thought oh weird maybe some kinda position desync bug. But repeatedly thru the match all 3 points were flipping blue with no blue people nearby, all 3 at the exact same time going from red uncontested to blue contested. I was standing on red mid and I could see on map where all 5 blue were fighting and it the point flipped blue 4 times while I was standing on it. What was going on with this pvp match? Every time it did this all 3 points flipped to contested blue at the exact same time from uncapped or red, and it was only happening when blue held no points.
