There used to be a more prominent hotjoin scene in-game. Depressing to see a lot of these servers empty now. There used to be multiple matches going on simultaneously but when I checked recently, there was only one map with a full roster. The rest either had a couple or completely empty.

uh because they are all playing ranked. Big surprise?

Guess where they play now?

For those who do not know, hotjoin was a hostile environment full of terrible players that lack map discipline and order. The games were often very one-sided and a big zerg spawn camped the outnumbered team.

The degenerates that used to frequent hotjoin have abandoned it for greener pastures elsewhere in the game. They’ve brought with them the unruly attitude hotjoin was know for.

If you spot a hotjoin player on the enemy team, I suggest you take them down immediately for a quick kill.

Hotjoiners are the type who’d tank MMR for accelerated progress. It’s part of their modus operandi like how they swap to winning teams.

How funny is that, no wonder there are so many bads in Ruby right now
