I play solo que. I play at nearly all times of day depending on the day (my work scheduel is topsy turvy). I average across all time zones anywhere from +3s to +5s. I know how rating is determined according to the info we have been given. This was meant as a comedy post.

Wow that’s actually terrible and it’s only 1780 rating. Probably almost impossible to get legendary like that (even w/ >90% win rate) climbing from Plat.

Unfortunately I have to keep playing in order to do the minimum games necessary which means my rating is inevitably going to plummet unless I start duo queing in order to cheese wins. YAY.

Yeah the point system sucks. I realy hope it gets changed the next season.

Especially considering you get something like -20 when your teammates are garbage and not carryable. The system needs changed.

It might not be as extreme as this but most players but the worst of the worst are seeing stuff like this happen. The player base is too small and the gap in skill level between players in a given match can be huge. And the game is going to expect you to carry these bads and when you do you will be rewarded minimally and when you can’t carry and lose your going to get wtfpwned with a much large rating loss.

Why are you playing at 6-7 am? No wonder you’re getting so little. Play during prime time and you’ll get +10 per win and -15/20 per loss. (I’m r19 right now.)

Yea but hes playing between the hours of 5-10am. This whole thread is silly.

6-7am NA is literally my prime time in Australia.

Not everyone can afford to play during “NA prime time”, especially on NA servers where there’s a 24/7 population around the world that plays on it unlike EU servers.

Just another reason not to play ranked this season, play during these 2 hours or don’t bother progressing! Yep sounds great to me /s

Maaaaybe you should have read the whole thread first. I play at nearly all times of day depending on how my work schedule shifts. My average is 2-5 NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY I PLAY ON.

Time of day & player population certainly have an effect. Like fishball and more than a few others, I play based in Australia. There is no prime time that matches my timezone.

These days I toggle between EU & NA server just to get a fair match.

BTW – On the NA (during off-peak) I’ve noticed if the match starts with a queue time under 2mins30sec it’s usually OK. Anything over 3mins, forget it; the mmr range could be >1000

Are you EU? Because the time of day does indeed matter if you’re on NA.
And if you are on NA, then you would only get those numbers in prime time if you were Nos or Naru. (And you’re not nos or naru.)
