Expected changes:

Create separate rankings for solo and 5/5 teams.
Disable queuing with incomplete party – allow only solo or 5/5 for ranked arena.

Let people play between completely random players or 5/5 teams vs 5/5 teams.

There is no competition for incomplete teams, they do not really compete with others.

By changing this, there will be no more crying about some random PvE that joined incomplete team and because of him that team lost the game.

Same as there will be no problem that party of 3 PvE players are queuing ranked arena just to get reward points and screwing up a challenge of dedicated solo PvPers.

Incomplete teams could always join unranked arena.

I somewhat agree, i’d say tho, make it so that people can solo or duo Queue, and put solos and duo’s together.

And then make a 5v5 ranked queue again. no more of this 5party coms VS. 5 randoms without coms bull…

I agree man. I was about to post something similar. I tried three games yesterday and lost all three of them. I put up a good fight myself, and my team wasn’t bad, but we didn’t have TS and a planned comp so we just couldn’t compete. Afterwards I played about five unranked matches and won four of them.

I’d really like to stand a better chance by solo queuing. I feel like the new leaderboard and ladder system and stuff completely shut me out unless I hook up with a guild and start practicing and altogether losing my social life. lol

this i would have to agree more with.

but what about parties of 3 or 4? i have a feeling there are way more of those than parties of 5.
be better to have solo/duo queue and a whatever party size queue.

ANet’s got nothing but backlash from this update. I wouldn’t be surprised if something was being worked on already. But I might just be too optimistic.

There were threads created from day 1 of the soloq merge with teamq.

The answer from the devs was that they didn’t really care, they wanted to just make it easier for teams to find a match to play.

I don’t care, just sit back and watch this go boomerang to them. 2015 almost and MMO devs have no clue about MMO’s in general.

Bring back our solo queues.

Then we’ll start QQ’ing about not being able to play with 2, 3, 4 in ranked.

I had the exact same idea in another thread. It is the BEST SOLUTION to most of the problems at the moment with Ranked & Unranked Arena.

Just bring back soloque and solo+duo+trio+quad+teamque like it used to be, but without afkers, Skyhammer, Spirit Watch and same classes creating bad teams. Thanks
