Reading posts on old/new games, I laugh and cry on how gear was always the deciding factor for PvP in those games.

I cry for the people who are still there wanting things to change and I laugh at the players who never want it to change because of the advantage they get from gear.

Has anyone else gone back to old forums to read up and rejoiced at the awesomeness that is GW2?

Yep, I love the fact that this isn’t gear-based.

The good old days of geared grinders in other MMO’s 3-shotting you then shouting bad. is finally over.

Too bad they spent their time on that instead of balancing classes….

I know, its crazy. I’ve been reading up alot on past games and its just sad. People who need that gear crutch talking down to players who want more of a competitive PvP. Its always the same line, “You want to come in and beat people who’ve been playing for X amount of time?!!! They earned it!!!”
