This should be familiar to those who play super smash bros seriously.

Then they added those stupid orbs in brawl and the game became kitten.

Of course there are the few who LOVE to have items and that stupid orb junk, but those would be hotjoin players – which is great for them; but not for soloque’rs.

If they want this to be an action game, they need to balance it around combat, not secondary objectives.

If they want this to be a tactics game, they need to give teammates the necessary time/interface to manage tactics for said secondary objectives before a match not just a 2min wait time.

If they want both, they need a new game designer.
