Last time i played solo -> teamq on my main account i played with and vs guys that didnt dodge….. at all. above 200 mmr.
Teamq is filled with pve heroes up till the top 100.
The biggest issue that the OP is experiencing is the lack of popularity / players in pvp. Anet is struggling to make anything happen so low rated ppl are matched with high rated veterans….
Since there are only few ppl available.

yes but lower rate people payed this game too so anet should make it works …and … once in anet life ,they should say something about 4 vs 5 …. but they will not … as usual ….
i cant imagine the 4 vs 5, i do my pvp dailies and i rarely ever run into 4 vs 5 but it happens so sorry for that
I see unbalanced teams fairly often in Hotjoin, but that’s the nature of the beast there. I do my part by automatically hitting volunteer for Autobalance if the option pops up and then just yolo’ing it from there. (I think a lot of people who quit after being autobalanced don’t realise that they get the winner’s reward even if they didn’t volunteer. You’re guaranteed a win no matter what, so why not just stay and do your best?)
Stopped playing soloQ seriously simply because of lopsided matches and afk,4v5 etc..
now i play hotjoin on level 1 ranger with my mesmer buddy porting me up on ledges etc making everyone’s lives miserable so they don’t even dare enter spvp again.
never had so much fun ruining everyone’s experience in a legit way.
