No, because I loose BECAUSE of them. Idc if the other team is a full premade. Im good enough to still have a chance against them.
However, getting handicapped this severly… an amber player – and yes, he really played like one too – on top of daily achievements farmers…
This screenshot shows everything that is wrong with ranked matchmaking. The matchmaker actually calculated this would be a close match-up, with my team a slightly better mmr.
And why?
Because new accounts start with an inflated mmr that has to be downadjusted in most cases.
Because Anet thinks its okay to have someone at the END of the ladder team up with someone at the BEGINNING of the ladder, and then foisting those two idiots on 3 unsuspecting soloqueuers.
Because Anet thinks nothing about letting players play professions they have no clue about… no, actually ENCOURAGES them to do that with silly achievements.
Here’s what would have to change to make GW2 ranked matches anything but the farce they are atm:
1. Locked professions -> unlocking professions by playing 150+ unranked matches
2. Profession-specific mmr
3. Separate mmr calculations for soloqueue and teamqueue
4. More detailed algorithm for soloqueue mmr (kills, deaths, dmg, healing, caps, double caps, defends have to have an impact on mmr)
5. Preventing players from teaming up if they are more than X pips apart on the ladder
6. Adding pure soloqueue option (opt out/in on getting placed with/against premades)
premades should only allow +-15 pip range unless it is a full premade, because then they can only hurt themselves if they invite baddies
The argument in season 1 was people wanted to “play with their friends.” However since season 1 where it was a huge advantage to queue with ambers, people now only seem to do it to troll, or they accidently hit the ranked button vs. the unranked.

I still dont understand this subject. This once again is a MM issue. The PiP system is a fail for the most part and can create huge mismatches in group play.
But once again this goes back to the actual ability of the players and the rank the PvP season gives them.
I have a screen shot from just now. My guild mates and I do not care for the guild leader board since we got screwed in season 1-2. Season 1 we played alot of matches and won alot but ended up something like 18-8 but i was in legendary rank and we saw a ruby Guild Team get a higher placing then us.
Then in 2nd season the guild decay guild 1 of our teams. They went like 7-1 early in the season and fell out of the top 500. The 4 players i played with in season 2 we went 12-7 and we got 24 on the guild leader board.
So playing at the end of the season is how you get Guild Trophies for the Guild hall which is what we did. Now 2 things to keep in mind, 1- is my guild team mates right for there MM. 2nd is who is on our team.
In the screen shot, we got 2 other players who could hold there own. So we won, next match we que under a different team que name and we lost. The 2 players on that team blamed us for the loss even though both players lost a 1 vs 1 with a thief who i beat for a point on the bunker ele.
So even though i went off course and dragged on a bit, this isnt a premade vs solo issue. Its a players skill issue as well as MM.

A trio queue, you find this hard?
I don’t know, I beat full team with soloq team once or twice a night over 10 games. It’s not really an issue.
On the great premade, there is about 10 or so team in NA. All other can be beat solo, or in duo or trio… whatever it takes.
By the way, even if they are queuing 5 togethers… it doesn’t mean they are on TS, it doesn’t mean they play a lot together or they know each other, or they stacked a full meta team.
Many 3-4-5 guyz are simply pugging around. Some of them can be farmed and exploit to let you win the match.
You just need to find their weakest link and your’s to carry the matches for both.
But if you play Ranked queue, I hear your pain. That pip-range make two team that can’t compete together.

I thought there was some rule that prevented you from queuing with someone from a different division.
