You should tell Blizzard , to not become like Arenanet , by hemorrhaging its healers in this x-pack to the ground , by forcing them to do 22-37% direct heals every 1,5 sec in this cc+countersilence era :P
And try to create their own ideas to implant in their game , so their population use GW2 as an alternative , otherwise in the future the ‘’needed to pay subs’’ will be no justified , when 2 games will have the same content :P

No. You have to remmember the main focus and core of this game is be a MMORPG. The word “esport” or “sport” is not even in the game description in the official website. Putting it in f2p makes the comunity worse, floods the server with bots, trolls, people selling gold, etc. People are willing to troll more if there is almost no consequences (buy the game again if ban). Most moba communities are pure cancer. You ban a player they just create a new account in the next day.

They could put economy restrictions on f2p players, and gemstore activity would still four-fold.
Pvp playerbase would go through the roof, and the additional income would more than pay for additional servers….

F2p Community’s in most F2p games are plain horrible…Imagine pvp being overrun by F2p players who do not care about this game At All..The amount of trolling would be insane because simply..They dont care about the game,its f2p,they dont care about its community,they dont care if they get banned either.If you think the attitude in Sq is bad now…you will cry when F2p people come rolling in.

GW2 is a free to play game (no subscription on that) if u want to play tihis game, u need to pay only 1 time and not on the others “Free to play” games where u shop for win

LoL’s community is bad, true. But that game is stupidly populated and because it’s populated it has 5v5 AND solo que. The advertisement is kinda bad, at least the one that they shown on WTS.
A better advertisement to say that this is an F2P game the moment it becomes an F2P game on some ads in websites.
I can understand where he is coming from for the F2P but honestly I don’t think that will change anything. F2P = troll/bots/harassment/real toxic environment lol. LoL community is a pool of hate and grief I def don’t want that for this game. The game is what 40 bucks on a bad day and if u get a deal (which is almost always) then its half of that so idk what the big deal is with B2P opposed to F2P (which is basically a better way of saying pay to win)

esports does not come automatically with F2P. Some big esports titel are f2p, some are not. F2P brings more players, but not always those you want in a healthy community, most of them are toxic players.
You hate 4v5? What do you think will happen when you can just switch to another account, once the deserter-debuff hits you?
There are thousands of F2P-games out in the market, seeking to reach ‘esports’, but failing on the way. If the PvP is good, people will come (back), if not, they will leave.

make pvp access F2P or pay for the game for all content.
Our situation right now isn’t any better. There’s too many cancerous people in ranked double capping early in the game causing 4v3s in mid when they have 7k achievement points or time spent on the game. People still talk crap, it doesn’t change even with a buy to play model.
That’s why even F2P is fair game at this point for the sake of something bigger.
P.S There’s also a block function.
Getting more people is simply better, that’s all there is to it. Just make F2P people only able to enter HOTM and not be able to access the wardrobe system.
