We all remember the ridicilous start of hot where the animations were such a mess that it was impossible what happened right?

I legit remember playing blindly during the monthly I introduced the bunker mes because the animations made everything on the point a disco where no matter what I did to the camera it was legit IMPOSSIBLE to make out what happened. I legit spammed cds and dodges hoping for the best.

So arenanet had to take about 8 months to patch the game into a state where the game was perfectly playable again. Sure, sometimes it gets a little cluttery but it could definitely have been much worse.

So did arenanet learn their lesson?

Imagine if this class is powerful enough to have 2 of them on each team.

Indeed prepare for eye cancer when PoF animations stay like this. Also another change i would like: the dmg numberes you cause on opponents should not be dirctly on the target and hide animations, the numbers should be further up the enemies head.

but to see them, repeating the same mistakes the second time around. i have to wonder why.

Maybe since the pro league is no longer a thing they just don’t care about toning down the animations anymore?

So their only reason for making the game watchable, both for people on twitch and more importantly the people playing the 100% animation based combat is esports?

The animations are fine, the particle effects however……

AoE Photon Forge skills that release the light of a small sun those need to be particle nerfed. The single target abilities are reasonable. The laser disk utility is over the top too, fortunately I don’t see that utility being dominant in PvP

3-4 AoE skills pls Nerf particles

I remember when revenant’s Glint ultimate made my fps drop But yeah, when I first saw Holosmith’s abilities I was like "goodbye, my framerate".

Limit details, turn down graphics, pray.

Especially cuz you know none of that flashy stuff is actually using your gfx card.
