Past two days I’ve had 6 games that ended 500-450 or even closer I normally got one of those games maybe once every 3 days.

This system is wayyyy better Arenanet, don’t let the high rank sync queuers tell you otherwise.

Matches do seem a lot better with having many close games overall, still a few (2) lopsided matches for me personally.

People are yeah. I think its very easy to get a bad impression off one game. I played like 8 games earlier and they were all close but we won them all.

Just now I lost 5v4. As in the team I was playing on had 5 and they had 4, the entire game, and we still lost. A game before that I was put with someone who I know is in the top 50 on the leaderboard for soloq and teamq. In that game I had one guy completely clueless, and another who was in his 4th ever PvP game. Now thats fine, but this is one reason why I dont think a rank 10 limit for solo queue would be unreasonable. Basically it meant me and the guard fought on mid and home respectively 1v1s most of the game while they didnt win a 3v2.

Rant over but yeah, I’m just wondering how I’m getting matched up with both those two kinds of people. I know its late and I dont need perfect matchmaking, but if theres more than ten people on surely it could be done a bit better?

Overall though I think the change has made a big difference, I hope to see some kind of class balancing, even if its just preventing more than 2 of each class being on your team, and no more than 1 set of 2 of the same class, or something similar

I can honestly say that I am not having fun, and the only reason I keep pushing the queue up button is from sheer frustration. I started at rank 350 odd, with 400 games played.. and now I think I am around rank 1000. I feel useless and completely demoralised.

That’s bad luck :/ I went on a 3-24 streak right before the new system came out.

My case is with the new system, I went from around rank 600 before the new system, to about 350 after the first day, and since then I’ve just lost and lost.. and lost games. I have to simply put it to me been really bad at this game type. I won’t change my build or my way of play for anything, I would rather quit then play the meta. I enjoy how I play, but I hate the game. More so now then I ever have. My playtime in the game no longer constitutes fun any more.

Sad but true.

If World of Warcraft had a mesmer class, I’d go back to it. The only thing keeping me is that I love mesmer.
